NP Dodge Goes Live on The Enterprise Network Platform

We are thrilled to announce after months of planning and development that NP Dodge Real Estate is now live on The Enterprise Network Platform! Founded in 1855, NP Dodge is one of the oldest and most prestigious independent firms in the country. And with over 500 agents and 10 offices, they are also the area’s largest full-service real estate company.

Their new site, which launched January 31st, incorporates existing technology available through membership in The Enterprise Network. Features include agent websites, individual property websites, extensive marketing tools, and robust search features like our enhanced Advanced Search, Lifestyle Search, Proximity Search and Site Search — just to name a few.

NP Dodge also released their mobile enabled website and mobile apps for both the iPhone and Android market at the time of their site launch, ensuring their customers have quick access to available properties while in-the-go.

Dave Perry-Miller & Associates Showcase High Profile Listings on New Enterprise Network Site

Yesterday, Dave Perry-Miller & Associates released their first website on The Enterprise Network Platform. They are the boutique luxury branch of Ebby Halliday Realtors and have inherited all the functionality of The Enterprise Network including search functionality, agent rebrands, individual property websites and the soon to be released mobile apps.

Dave Perry-Miller & Associates represent luxury properties in North Texas and have set Dallas sales records by selling more million dollar residences than any other firm in North Texas. With such exquisite listings, they wanted to keep these properties as the focal point of the site. To accomplish this, we created a clean, sophisticated design with large photography on their homepage that highlight these luxury properties.

Dave Perry Miller also kept usability at the forefront of the design and only included features most important to their online customers. Directly from their homepage, users can implement a quick search, search for open houses and new listings through the drop down, and much more.

Enterprise Story: Charity Middleton

Enterprise Stories is a new series that highlights Enterprise Network members and how they are utilizing technology. This time we are highlighting Charity Middleton, who I met at last month’s Enterprise Network Annual Conference. I was inspired by how passionate she is about real estate and technology and thought she would be a great candidate for the series!

Charity has a long history in the Real Estate Industry that started when she was 16 years old answering phones for a local real estate company. Her passion for real estate and experience with marketing and technology grew as she took a position as an assistant to a local Realtor. At that time, she was responsible for creating the website, brochures and all media. Also during this time, their local MLS moved from books to online, putting Charity in charge of understanding the new online process.

Charity is now the Social Media Manager at Murney Associates Realtors and still sells homes full-time. On top of that, she instructs a spin class and is a mother of two. She’s even taught her daughter who loves to write that “blogging” is like writing a story.

To manage her hectic days, Charity has implemented many tactics to take care of business while on-the-go. Below is an interview we conducted with Charity that outlines her daily routine and how she manages it all. (more…)

Mobile IPW’s Now Available for Network Members!

With over 53 million SmartPhones in use in the United States, having your website enhanced for mobile viewing is important in order to provide potential buyers with detailed property information on-the-go. Designed with usability in mind, our mobile IPWs give customers the ability to navigate a property website with ease anytime, anywhere.

Customers will be able to scan a QR code or enter the property’s URL on their mobile device to be directed to the mobile version. Once a customer lands on the IPW, they are given the option to request additional information about the property or click-through to the photo gallery, property details, map view, agent information and more.

Conference Highlight: Syndication

At this year’s conference, we wanted to shed light and increase awareness on a few of the syndication issues we’re seeing in the Real Estate Industry today. When it comes to syndication, we admit, we don’t have all the answers (yet). However, the future of syndication is in your hands and by engaging in an open discussion, we hope to educate Enterprise Network members on the difference between Black Hat and White Hat syndication as well as best practices for your listings.

So, here’s the problem; often times, syndication sites like Trulia and Zillow are beating you on Google search results for your long tail terms (long tail terms typically refer to specific property addresses and on average account for 65% of traffic to your site). In addition, these Black Hat syndication sites are redirecting Google to their site instead of yours through no follow links. The result? These sites are telling Google they are the original source for your content and establishing themselves as the authority on that listing.
