When spending more than a million dollars on a home, I would imagine most want much more than just a home. While location can be the biggest deciding factor, things like view and the amount of outdoor space are also important. That may be why it is common for million dollar listings to include pictures of their view or outdoor spaces. The Enterprise Network is proud to announce the release of our second real estate app! To ensure our members remain competitive in the mobile market, Active Website’s in-house Mobile Department recently released a real estate app targeting the IOS market. Keeping usability at the forefront of design, our first iPhone app was developed using common Apple UI constructs that are already intuitive to Apple users.
One of the main goals for this mobile release was to get customers to a desired location within the app in as few steps as possible. As a result, we streamlined the design and combined navigation tools into the same view as the property view so customers can quickly scroll through the different pages.

With similar search functionality to that of our Android mobile app, the iPhone app also allows customers to easily search for homes while on-the-go using a variety of different search options including Journey Search, Exploratory Search, Perimeter Search and Scope Search.
For both the Android and iPhone app, we joined forces with the Wikitude team to provide the latest in augmented reality technology for our real estate customers – and we’ve seen impressive results! We’re happy to announce that one of our Colorado-based members, Wright Kingdom Real Estate, will be making a donation to The Community Foundation of Boulder County in order to aid in the rebuilding of Colorado. Serving the Boulder real estate marketing since 1976, Wright Kingdom has strong ties to their local community that was recently affected by nearby wildfires.
Starting today, Wright Kingdom and its associates will make a $50 contribution for every Facebook “Like” or “Share” they receive for their Facebook Wildfire Relief photo, up to $25,000!
This past weekend, Active Website employees joined over one hundred other volunteers and spent four hours packaging meals to be sent to Kenya on Saturday February 25, 2012. The event provided 140,000 meals for children in Kenya which will allow many children in Kenya to eat two meals a day.
Kare for Kenya was organized to bring hope to those living in the Horn of Africa. Right now, they are experiencing the most devastating famine in 60 years and tens of thousands of families walk for days in search of food in Kenya. Thousands have already died, and images of children with skinny, malnourished bodies are becoming commonplace. To try and provide these people with some relief, Kazi Yake partnered with Kids Around the World to package and send meals to Kenya. The packages contained soy, rice, vitamin packs and dehydrated vegetables. They cost $.25 and feed over 12 children. (more…)
