Following up on a recent press release, Active Website would like to congratulate The Enterprise Network for another great year in 2009. With the results of The REAL Trends 500 having been released a couple months ago, we’d like to take the time  to spotlight several of our Network Members who made the list.

Every year, REAL Trends ranks the performance of residential real estate companies across the country by sales volume, transactions, mortgage, etc. This annual report is a trusted standard of measuring performance, so again, congratulations to the following companies for a successful year.

The Group, Inc. offers Job Loss Protection Program

According to a recent survey by Realtor.com, over 50% of potential homeowners are reluctant to take on such a large financial responsibility. The number one reason for this was cited as being the fear of job loss; and with unemployment at a 26-year-high, who can blame them? Real Estate companies across the country are trying to find ways to make consumers feel confident about purchasing a new home. One of those companies is Enterprise Network member, The Group, Inc. Real Estate. Based out of Ft.Collins, CO, The Group, Inc. is extending an offer to buyers through the Job Loss Protection Program. Properties purchased or listed for sale through a Group Realtor are eligible for coverage if they so chose.

The Job Loss Protection Program is included in The Rainy Day Foundation’s HELP program (Homeowner Education and Loan Protection). The program provides up to six months of mortgage payments in the event you lose your job within 24 months of purchasing a home. Launched in 2008 with the goal to help Americans maintain responsible homeownership, the HELP program is predicted to provide over eight million in funds in 2009. In good economic times and bad, the Rainy Day Foundation wants to help.

To be eligible for assistance from the foundation:

1.    You must be between the ages of 18 and 66
2.    Be employed full time (minimum of 30 hours per week)
3.    Unemployment must commence involuntarily during coverage period
4.    Cannot be self employed (greater than 10%), an independent contractor, or active military

As our second installment of People in the Network Making a Difference, we interviewed Todd Fields of The Group, Inc. Real Estate. Congratulations to Todd for being the first agent nominated! As a member of The Group, Inc. who has been around since “before computers,” Todd has a lot of tips on working with customers who are not as tech savvy as you are. NINJA Selling Partnership Holds Great Value

At our Enterprise Network Conference we had the pleasure of announcing our new partnership with NINJA Selling. We believe that this partnership has many levels of benefits. NINJA Selling is a CRS Certified course that a few of our members have participated in, loved and found success with. We wanted all of our Members to be able to experience what NINJA has to offer so we negotiated a deal with Larry Kendall and NINJA specifically for the Enterprise Network.

NINJA Selling: The Right Attitude Can Make the Difference

NINJA Selling techniques have been known to greatly increase sales for any agent that uses the strategies and processes that they teach. A large part of the NINJA philosophy is about one’s attitude, mindset, and approach to each situation they encounter. Take a look at this video to see just how much of an impact the NINJA training classes have on the agents that participate. This is one an exercise that they use during classes and seminars to demonstrate focus and show the participants that if they have the right attitude and strategy when approaching a prospective seller or buyer, anything is possible.
