I think it was about four years ago when we first brought up the idea to change our name. As we grew so did the feeling that the name and the @ symbol seemed too commercial, too generic. They did not reflect the lifestyle and the family that is our company. We were looking for our “hakuna matata“.
We recently, separated The Enterprise Network
(formerly known as The Active Enterprise Network)
into its own entity with an updated name and logo.
So now was the perfect time for us to pull the trigger on a facelift for our own entity.
As a result we recently acquired booj.com. While you may find some interesting meanings, to us “booj” is a way of life, it means …

In the coming months we are going to be transforming @ctive into booj. We will have a new site at www.booj.com representing the company, our projects and our lifestyle. Another at www.boojers.com for our employee community, as well as updated social network pages.
It’s been a long time coming and we are all very excited for this evolution.
Our plans for booj for 2013 include growing awareness of the new brand name as the leader in web development and provider of complex platform solutions, highlighting existing platforms such as The Enterprise Network and WM Solutions. We also want to place further focus on our internal lifestyle as the ideal place to grow your career and attract the best talent available.
