Today, Ebby Halliday Realtors launched their redesigned site in Beta. Wanting to create a more streamlined look and feel to the site, Ebby incorporated several design concepts from Steve Jobs’ book including lighter colors and clean lines.
By switching to a lighter color palette and using white backgrounds on content pages, Ebby has improved the readability of their site as well. Additionally, by decreasing the amount of advertisement space, the new layout gives prominent placement to their featured homes through vibrant photography and tabs to showcase Just Listed and Recently Reduced homes, Luxury Properties and Open Houses.
Along the bottom of Ebby’s site, they’ve integrated a social toolbar that allows users to engage with them on various other platforms as well. The sticky footer features links to their contact page, blog and social sites. It also incorporates a feed from Facebook that showcases their last post.
In addition to updating the design of the site, they enhanced many other sections of their site as well. By making changes to their search functionality, content, layout and design they’ve created a more user-friendly experience for those searching for Dallas homes for sale.
Other enhancements include:
Ebby’s redesign incorporates The Enterprise Platform’s latest Advanced Search that allows users to search by more fields within the MLS. Combined with the property counter that tells users how many properties match their criteria, customers are able to narrow down the results to find a home that meets their specific needs.
Updated Content throughout Site
In an effort to increase the usability of their site even further, one of the biggest changes Ebby made was updating their site’s content. The site now offers quick access to important information relevant to the homebuying process and incorporates keywords throughout their site for enhanced SEO.
Community Page Updates
Another main focus of their redesign was within the community pages. Ebby added new photography to help grab a customer’s attention and showcase each community better. They made content changes to their community content as well and integrating data from Onboard Informatics. Through Onboard’s Navigator product, users have easy access to detailed school and community data.
We are proud of the enhancements to Ebby’s site and look forward to the full release within the next month. For a sneak peek of the new site, click the preview button at the top of Ebby's Homepage.
