Ladies and Gentlemen, I’ll try to make this short – On Thursday, March 11th, 1PXOFF’s final ball was thrown.
It’s no stretch to say that this was not how we wanted things to end – the tournament had just begun. We were just getting warmed up, really. Accustomed to the pre-game routine, the entire team boarded the elevator at the same time, an entire cab of white and red uniforms, an irrepressible energy permeating the air. On the fourth floor we pushed through the narrow hallway to the basketball courts, started the practice throws, but this time something was different.

Today, we want to begin our discussion on usability. This is a hot topic for the Active Enterprise Network as we continue to evolve in order to meet the demands of our customers. We need to remember that usability is crucial to the success of our websites and we must have a plan of action. Understanding how users are interpreting our sites will help us adapt to their needs.
Just like our websites, we need to keep our customers in mind when it comes to our blogs. A few weeks ago, we did a video presentation on How to Write an Effective Blog for our Active Community Series that covered guidelines for writing a post that will most appeal to your readers. Today, we want to take that a step further and discuss the importance of your overall blog site.

I knew I probably wouldn’t make it.
It was a hard decision, one that I had not made until very late in the day. But let’s face it, Dave Eggers doesn’t just set up a table in your local bookstore and start signing things every week. I had formulated a strong argument, had presented it from an objective standpoint.
“The book signing is really close to the Athletic Club.” I explained. “I’ll get there just as the second game is starting, all fresh and ready for battle! It will work out great.” Everyone had said the same thing – it’s cool, it’s alright, things come up. They weren’t holding it against me. I was hardly the first person to miss a game.
Once again, it’s been an eventful month for the Active Enterprise Network. From the launch of Turpin Real Estate’s new website to the redesign of Charles Reinhart Company Realtors‘ existing site, Network Members are staying busy!
With new technologies in play, the Active Enterprise Network is stronger than ever. At Active Website, our clients are a part of our culture and we are proud to be working with such an innovative and talented group. This being said, we want to remind everyone to check out Active Newsroom for highlights of our achievements so far this year.
