He also is a great networker with his peers and his community using these connections to build his online presence.  Read below to find out more about this innovative Realtor.

Name: Eric Rojas
Title: Realtor
Company: Rubloff Residential Properties

Eric has been with Rubloff for over two years. Previously he worked at a smaller privately owned brokerage, but as his business began to take off he began contemplating what he needed to run his business successfully.

What does Rubloff offer that has helped take your business to the next level?
Rubloff offered more professional marketing opportunities and tools for my listings. They also offer more office assistance and promote a business building atmosphere that is flexible and helps everyone to be successful. At Rubloff I focus on where I get my business, which is online. In talking with you guys at Inman I realized my next step for building my business is to address my human resources problem.  Rubloff allows me to hire team members and brand myself freely.

What do you mean “Human Resources Problem”? (more…)

Focusing Online and Not In Print

Online Advertising is a great SEO tool. It expands your digital presence putting you in front of consumers online. Inman had a great article last week talking about taking your print advertising online. The article did not give any stats about how many people are online or even mention why you should be doing it- what they did do is talk about how to prepare your brokerage to make that move.

In the Inman article Sean Black, vice president of sales for Trulia suggested four questions brokerages should be asking themselves about their online marketing. In the big picture these questions ultimately demand a good website to keep people coming to you for their real estate needs, a team to manage the inflow of web leads and a process to convert those leads to closed business.

  1. Where do I get traffic and leads from?
  2. Where can I reach the most new-home shoppers?
  3. Where can I get the best targeting?
  4. Where can I get tracking by agent and listing?

Already August, and another month to talk about another important feature of the Enterprise Platform, Search Engine Optimization. A successful online marketing strategy requires more than just an outstanding website; it also needs an aggressive SEO plan. SEO= traffic= qualified leads= sales

There are many ways to employ SEO and it takes more than just picking your keywords. Active Website specializes in SEO and analysis in-house. Maintaining SEO is not a one-time occurrence, it is a continual process, yearly-monthly-weekly, that evolves with the changes in search engine technology. With multiple areas of a website that contribute to SEO it is a full-time requirement. But for starters I am going to cut it down to the most important areas you must focus on.

5 SEO Must Do’s:

  1. Choose your keywords wisely:  Choosing keywords can be tough, and is often highly competitive. (more…)
