In “Twittering in Church” an article in the June 1 edition of TIME magazine, Bonnie Rochman writes “Twitter is hot”. That’s why churches across the nation are picking up on the trend and implementing it into their Sunday services. Twitter has been a hot topic in real estate for some time and is one of the many social networking tools available to brokerages and agents alike.
In the article Churches were using Twitter during services to expand on the sermon and keep people engaged. This type of Tweeting session may not seem possible for a real estate brokerage, but could in fact work as a training tool.
If you have agents in your office who are interested in working on their Tweeting skills why not hold a team or office or training meeting through Twitter.
Start by showing everyone how to sign up for an account.
Then show everyone how to “Follow” each other and you, the Brokerage.
Next start the conversation on your Twitter page. Ask everyone to comment on your page.
Continue training by showing them how to make their first post. Then ask everyone to go to each others pages and respond.
Ta-da! Everyone now knows how to twitter and automatically has followers.
The Enterprise Platform has great tools for your agents including links to their social networking sites. This means agents who have web pages can link directly to their Twitter page.
